Award Winning Cast Glass from Colin Reid

Colin Reid is regarded as a pioneer in the field of kilncast glass. He exhibits internationally and has work in over 45 museum collections worldwide. He has undertaken many public and private commissions often combining glass with other media such as metal, stone or wood.  Based in his studio in SW England, Colin has developed the expertise and facilities to handle large scale commissions in glass.

Notable commissions include ‘Cipher Stone’, at over 500kg one of the largest artworks to have been cast in optical glass in the UK, ‘Ikthus’, a cast crystal font which can be seen in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and Bamboo Scroll, a major sculpture for Shanghai Public Library.

Edoardo Tresoldi: Transparent Sculptures

Edoardo Tresoldi (b.1987) plays with the transparency of mesh and with industrial materials to transcend the time-space dimension and narrate a dialogue between Art and World, a visual summary which reveals itself in the fade-out of physical limitations. Since 2013, he performs public space interventions, focusing his research on genius loci and the study of landscape elements. His works have been featured in public spaces, archaeological contexts, contemporary art festivals, music festivals and group shows. For more check out his Facebook.

Paper-Artist: Peter Gentenaar

Peter Gentenaar from the Netherlands has melded the world of printmaking and sculpture into a natural and elegant form. A single sheet of handmade paper formed into natures most intricate and elaborate dynamics to create breathtaking sculptures. The beauty of these pieces is entirely inspiring and reminds us of our place in the world.

“I compare my work with a leaf when it falls from a tree and dries in the autumn.“
